There are many qualified and excellent hunting and firearms training facilities in Ontairo, we are just one of them.  There are also a few “scam artists” who you have to watch out for.  Buckeye Firearms Training uses only top notch instructors who are certified to teach and test the classes you attend with them.  All of the instuctors we use are experienced and passionate about the material they are presenting.  Ten or twenty hours is a long time to sit in a chair, so we make every effort keep students engaged the whole time and get you out of your chair as often as possible.

Another unique feature of Buckeye Firearms Training is the facility we use to teach, we call it “The Cabin”.  We find that students really start to feel a passion for hunting and shooting the minute they pull up to our training centre.  It starts with the board and batten building which came off our own Timberking portable sawmill, but only gets better when you open the door.  Whether you notice the moose head, the Ontario top ten turkey, or the Elmira cook stove first, there is lots to keep your  attention.  And during break time you can check out our photo wall (not to mention our graduate student “wall of fame”).  We always  have a few   original water colour paintings of Northern Ontario on display by famous water colour artist Jake Mole (www.tamarackstudios.com).

Also at Buckeye Firearms Training we are very  proud of our firearm collection.   We could teach the class with as few as 5 guns, but students appreciate the fact that we normally have over 35 guns in the training centre (that’s rifles and shotguns), we also have 18 handguns for our restricted classes.

In a nutshell, you will quickly discover that at Buckeye Firearms Training we LOVE what we do here, and we make every effort to ensure that it comes out in the product we deliver to students.
